Les chemises à empiècements renforcés aux épaules et au dos remontent à la fin du XIXe siècle ; elles étaient conçues comme des pulls de travail résistants. La poche à cigarettes, apparue en 1929 et communément appelée poche « Flyer », doit son nom au système permettant de soulever le fond de la poche pour en extraire les cigarettes. Dans les années 1930, un nouveau type de chemise a vu le jour, combinant des œillets d'aération à la poche à cigarettes pour une fonctionnalité accrue.

My daily drivers for work are the 1935 cigarette pocket shirt and the 1933 CCC Dungarees. I am more than happy with both of them, both stand up to both the regular shop and field work and the welding I do.
The denim on the shirt especially is very helpfully heavy, and has protected me from welding sparks with very few full burn-through’s, but is still breathable enough to sweat it out in and be for the most part comfortable.
I thoroughly enjoy both products and look forward to the henleys I just ordered to wear under this shirt.

I´m so very very happy with this shirt that I just ordered the other style as well. The collar feature gives it a distinct look. Very comfortable and fits well. I´m 183 with 88kg and a size 44 is a lose fit. Looking forward more products like this. Great costumer support btw!

The craftsmanship on this 1930s work shirt reproduction is top-notch—10oz plain denim, triple-needle chain-stitching, reinforced patches, and a perfect vintage feel. The fit is spot on, and the quality far exceeds the price. Shipping to Canada took about two weeks, which was totally reasonable. Can’t wait to break this in. Highly recommend!
it was a little itchy when arrived, but one wash and air dry did away with any discomfort. it also fits well and goes well with high waisted pleated pants
I enjoy your clothes. I just wish that your jeans/trousers were available in longer lengths. All the pairs that I have bought are to short. They look great everywhere else except the length.
