Go to hat in the winter. Holding up well...five panel construction means it lays flat rather than forming a reservoir tip on the top of the head.

My boyfriend loves motorcycles and he also loved the tv show, “Then Came Bronson” in which the main character, Michael Parks, plays Jim Bronson, a biker. His uncle gave him a real seaman’s cap - like Bronson wore, and my boyfriend wore it every day throughout his teens. He was so sorry to have lost it and could never find a replacement … until I got him your Bronson hat for Christmas! It’s his favorite gift and he wears it almost all the time now, at 66! Thank you for making us both happy such a fine quality product and authentically true to the 1969-1970 film series!

Very high quality and very accurate to the originals in both appearance and weight of material used. I decided to take a risk thinking this would be the same as some other repros I’ve bought and just weren’t good but I was very pleasantly surprised to find that wasn’t the case. I would highly recommend if considering buying this watchcap

Like the A4 watchcap, this is another keeper from Bronson. Great fit, nice wool and an adjustable brim - all superb. I‘m usually rather willing to spend a bit more to buy the proper stuff just once - but Bronson stuff is proper stuff! The only thing that was not so great was that the seam was split a tiny bit - thankfully at the brim, so I could fix this myself quickly. Nevertheless, that tiny obstacle couldn’t keep me from ordering the cap in navy as well. Fitwise, it’s way better on my head than that of a renowned japanese retro milsurp manufacturer that just felt too tight. So 9 out of 10 points here - considering the ‚money‘s worth‘ ratio it‘s clearly a winner, anyway.

I had my father's watch cap as a boy. It eventually fell apart. All other 'woolen caps' had four 'points' which is easier to assemble, but looks horrible no matter which way you line them up. Navy watch caps were designed to not only keep sailors warm (wool is warm even when wet) but too also fit comfortably under a helmet.

This is the nicest watchcap I have. The wool isn't scratchy and it it fits well. And its vintage. It costs more but its a better cap. Make the investment.

This is the best watch cap I have and I have a few. It is very comfortable and the wool doesn't scratch the way that cheaper wool does. It also fits well over my rather large head without working it's way off. I have stocked up on several of theseand I highly recommend that you do the same.
