This denim jacket was first introduced in 1931 as a design specifically for cowboys, earning it the name ‘Cowboy Jacket,’ which later became known as the ‘Rider Jacket.’ While its pre-World War II appearance was similar to the 1st denim jacket, its sewing details and cut were notably different. And featuring a pre-shrunk process, the fabric offered greater stability, contributing to its widespread popularity.
