The jacket retains hallmark features of earlier field jacket models, including four large bellows pockets for ample storage. The waist drawstring is placed internally to prevent snagging, while the expandable gauntlet cuffs protect the hands.

The collar includes a zipper with a built-in hood that can be unfolded when needed. Shoulder straps remain the faithful original details, and back pleats allow greater mobility. A slightly tapered waist gives the jacket a streamlined silhouette.
