This is a replication of a 1950s USN N-1 undershirt. Originally used for training wear within the US Navy in the 1950s, the thick bib-like patch over the chest and back constructed with 4 needle stitching is to improve the durability of the garment. 

Our version is tailored to the original version, and it is made of heavy-duty 13.5 oz cotton fabric that is close to the first edition thickness and texture, restoring the style of the original version, while heavyweight and has a comfortable skin feeling, really integrated into life.
