Only four models of the Air Force jacket are blue, they are N2A, N3A, L2, and B-15C.
Both O. D. and blue B-15C Flight Jackets became icons of the Korean air war, and possibly the most famous of the B-15 Flight Jacket series, having been extensively photographed while being worn by film star Marilyn Monroe and her entourage while performing in a USO tour of air bases just after the Korean war.
This B-15C Flight Jacket is made of 340T waterproof nylon, the filling is blended wool (60% wool, 40% polyester), and the mouton collar faithfully reproduces the original version collar, with seamless tube rib-knit cuffs (70% wool, 30% acrylic), hand screen printing, Talon zipper, and YKK brass snaps.
In order to best determine fit, it may be helpful to compare our garment’s measurements to a similar garment you already own. Lay your garment on a flat surface and take all measurements from the outside of the garment.
