The A-2 Deck Jacket is the direct successor of the iconic N-1 Deck Jacket and has been issued to sailors for the harsh conditions of Navy deck work. In addition, Later versions until the 1980s were made in satin fabric similar to the M-65 jacket, color OG107, and the pocket flap was changed from a triangle to a flat flap. Long story short: the A-2 Deck Jacket amalgamated the best features from the past with modern standards and became one of the U.S. Military’s most comfortable and useful jacket designs.
