These are super high waisted which I love, they come up just above my belly button and they're long enough not to become ankle pants. Nowadays it's so difficult to find this fit without spending a fortune. The corduroy is beautiful, when the sunlight hits it, it looks like it glows. The pockets are so nice and deep, I couldn't be happier with them. For reference I'm 190cm, 100kg and my waist is 100cm and I went with size 36. I styled these with a rugby shirt
I love the colour hue of these cords - it’s a rich brown colour that I have not seen in other stores. The colour really pops and seems elegant. The construction feels absolutely solid and love the hefty weight of these. I’m only giving it 4/5 stars because they fit much baggier than I expected and would have liked. I did read the measurement guides but do wish these were a slightly slimmer straight leg so that I could dress them up a bit. I feel I can only get away with more casual look with bulky sweaters due to the wide straight leg. I’m 5’10 and 163lbs. and bought a size medium.

I’m a big fan of Bronson clothing, at least the items I’ve purchased which include both the brown and black versions of the “12.5oz 8 Wale (high-waisted) corduroy trouser”. They are beautifully made and finished with four really deep, heavyweight cotton pockets and the quality extends to the weight of the fabric in general. Also, the waist and leg measurements are accurate provided one takes into account that your ‘waist’ measurement should be taken at the height of your belly-button (high-waisted fit) and not the narrower circumference of your actual waist - two inches extra work for me! I can also vouch for the quality of Bronson’s “Henley Shirt” in both White and Apricot along with the “1930s Ivy Style Double Pleated Chino Trouser” in Yellow (although, the Henley shirts are a tad on the snug side for me considering I had the largest size available at XXL!). All these clothing items can be seen in my supplied pics. If it helps regarding any sizing confusion - I’m 6ft tall (1.83cm). Waist: 34” (86cm) - I bought size 36”. Chest: 42” (106cm). Weight: 12st.3lbs (78kg). P.S. I added the buttons for the braces to all trousers.
Great pants! Very comfortable, nice deep pockets, very high waist, decently wide, and cool pleats. It's a good length for me (5'8). My only complaint is that the inside button fell off after a few times of wearing. Luckily I have a friend who knows how to sew and would surely be willing to repair it.
Great pants! I am currently about 5'9 and 155lbs with a 32" waist, although I was a bit heavier when I ordered these (probably closer to a 33" waist and 165lbs) and I ended up going with a large. I definitely could have gone with the medium with my current measurements but I don't mind a bit of a baggy fit. The pants are very well made, great fabric and I especially love how high the rise is! I'm very impressed with Bronson and I'm looking forward to getting more from them in the future.
Pros: Great quality corduroy, heavy material that drapes very nicely. Good for the price. Nice big pockets. Cons: They are slightly small in the waist for the size I bought (L).

Awesome corduroy pants. I’m 6’4 180lbs with a 32 waist normally and got the M. The length is just about perfect as is the waist. Relaxed all the way through and the leg opening isn’t super big. Exactly the cut I like. Also there’s a lining on the inside of the pants. Didn’t know it would come with a lining. Easy to slip on and off but I might prefer no lining at all. Not sure. Either way they are comfortable and perfect for fall/winter weather.

Nice thick material. Comfy to wear. Unfortunately, the flap that covers the fly keeps opening up and the fly itself is a light colour which makes it more noticeable. The design should be updated.
What a fantastic pair of trousers. I’ve been a costumer of Bronson for more than a year and have loved every piece so far. These corduroy pants are of high quality and in a traditional drape cut that is nearly impossible to find from most retailers. Very similar in fit to the 1930’s chino which I also really enjoy. I hope to see more fabric offerings in this cut such as a heavyweight flannel. Keep up the great work!

The fit is impeccable! Changed my friends opinions on corduroy. Will be getting the black pair soon and a few other pants/trousers.
These trousers are exceptional! The cut is very classic, full in the legs and pleated, which allows for a lot of comfort around the midsection. They drape very well, since it’s a heavier fabric. The corduroy is very comfortable and elegant in the texture and look. It’s a beautiful brown for the fall and winter seasons. I’ve worn them out in the snow and they don’t soak up snow, the snow just sticks to the outside and you can brush it off. I found the fit to be excellent, snug in the waist and very comfortable everywhere else. I bought the one with the waist 32 in, which is close to my actually waist, 31in., give or take an inch. I found the rise to be perfect for my taste, very high with the size I got. This could be because I bought a size up from what I usually get, so the proportions are bigger. This is what I was aiming to do, so I’m glad to say these trousers are probably my favorite in cut and drape and fabric. It’s a win all around. I highly recommend, and for the price it’s a real steal of a deal! Well done, Bronson!
Everything from these folks is of the highest quality. Nice designs too. I’d like to see more high waist suspender work pants, and some overalls. I keep coming back.
These cords are great: the quality on the stitching is quite nice, the weight of the fabric is just right, and there's some nice attention to detail like the extended button tab on the waistband. The cut is definitely straight, but the leg opening is still reasonable -- more modern, but a touch too small for my style, as I prefer a larger leg opening.

Great, basic corduroy pants. Traditional fit with no fancy branding or 'details' to ruin it. Keep it simple!
Fantastic pants. I was looking for high-waisted pants, and these are just right for me. The material is high-quality and soft to the touch. The packaging was excellent: the pants were neatly folded, with a nice tag, pins, tissue paper, and a silica packet to keep them dry. They fit perfectly and give a really great vintage look. I honestly hadn’t heard of this company before, but I’m very impressed. Great value for the price. Thanks!

Really great material and well made pants. That said, the fitting with these is tough. The crotch is really long and low, so you’re forced to wear them extremely high, and it seems with the pleating, overall there’s too much material in this area. I’m going to try and have them altered because like I said, everything else about them is amazing. For reference I’m about 5’10” and 176lbs. Usually wear a 34w but I had to exchange these for a 36, I could barely button the 34s which was odd. The 36 that came fit like a 38. Instead of bothering with another exchange I tried washing in hot and drying on high to shrink, which worked very little. Customer service is awesome, and the other 5-6 items I’ve purchased from here are incredible. Once I figured out my size with Bronson, it’s all fit perfectly. I even have more on the way. This pair may be a loss though which is a bummer.

Quality is very good. Sizing is just too tricky though. For reference I'm 167cm 78kg. I usually am a size 32 with regular Levis, Gstar Raw, Ksubi, Nudie, Neuw and Carhartt but this pair of trousers don't even come near to fit me at all. A size 34 probably still won't fit me. With Momotaro and Pure blue Japan im a size 33 and that's raw unsanforized. My bad for not checking out the sizing. Customer service is excellent and guided me through for an easy return but I won't be risking again with this for an exchange due to the sizing problem. If I will exchange it, I'll probably buy the size 36. Bronson Athletic tees size Large fit me perfectly though so I might just exchange it for another tshirt.
