This is the reproduction of the type 2 denim jacket from the 1950s. In 1952, as a modified version of the first generation of denim jacket 506XX, the 507XX jacket was born. The 507XX denim jacket has the exquisite quality and a relatively fit shape. The matching color of sewing thread and fabric to the position of folds is implemented in the design details, which is different from the "rough" of the WWII version.
Point collar. Buttoned placket. Donut buttons.
Long sleeve with buttoned cuffs.
2 chest patch pockets.
Adjustable buckled tab at the back waist. Logo-debossed leather patch at the interior of the back neck.
13.5 oz. slub selvedge denim, 100% cotton.
Machine washable.
Dyed with indigo. Due to the natural characteristics of this material, the coloring may rub off onto fabrics and upholstery.

Hello,
Good quality for a reasonable price. Shipping was fast. Measurements correspond to the size table. I am 182 cm tall and my weigh 76 kg (I bought size 40). The first photo is after first wash (hand washed approximately 25°C for 30 minutes). The second photo is taken before the first wash.

Hello community. I ordered this type 2 jacket in size 44. The shipping was surprisingly fast but I would still love if Bronson chose a more established partner in belgium (bpost or dhl for instance). That way I would feel more secure. At the end it arrived safely though. I ordered this size and it fits greatly, also on top of a Longsleeve tee and a sweatshirt underneath as I wear it in the picture. I haven’t washed it yet though and I’m really afraid of the shrinkage. For reference I’m approximately 90 kgs and 188 cm. If anyone has any tips of avoiding shrinking, please feel free to share with me. Lovely product, can’t wait to see how it evolves over time.
This denim jacket is everything I was looking for. I wanted a good repro of the Levi's type 2 jacket and this one is just right in the fabric, design pattern and length. It's shorter, just like it was made back in the days!
The size chart is accurate from Bronson in my experience and the fit of this jacket is excellent! 👌🏻
Excellent Type II jacket. Weight is perfect. I was afraid the jacket would be too small when I ordered it. It actually came a tad large, but after quick cold wash and low dry it fits perfectly. I’m 5’8, and broad/muscular for reference—I bought a 38

I am 2 years into wearing in my Type 2 from Bronson and it is absolutely my favourite jacket; my 'go to' trucker jacket. The fades and patina that are emerging are fantastic. I have a Levi's Type 2 also and without a doubt I prefer the Bronson. I wear a 44" and it's perfect. Shrank a little upon first wash (cold) and a line dry, becoming the best fit I've ever had from a Type 2. The denim is great, the detailing spot on, all for a ridiculously reasonable price. I've paid far more for Levi's and various Japanese brands previously and have been pleased by them also; my wallet would, however, tell a different story!! Thankyou Bronson, you rock! I want to buy another to have in reserve for when my current jacket is worn to faded, but the stock always flies...
Firstly, I’d like to say that the quality of the jacket is excellent. With that said, I’m disappointed with the sizing, I ordered a 42 and received a 42L, which is something I can deal with, but it actually fits like a 46!! I have a Levi’s trucker jacket that’s a 42 and fits perfectly! Unfortunately I removed the tag and wore the jacket a few times to see if I can get used it. I’m thinking I can’t return it so I’ll just have to get used to it.

Unfortunately, I don’t have photos at the moment. The fitting is pretty nice. It’s tight around my armpit/ inner part of my shoulder but the rest of the jacket fits pretty nicely. I just have to lose my belly, when I do so, hopefully I remember to post picture with jacket on for here to see. Materials are on point, a solid constructed type 2 reconstruction! I will give customer service 5 stars also, very informative, and willing to help and give out recommendations on wherever the sizing is a good fit or not. My package also came earlier than expected.

Very happy with this jacket, a good type 2 that doesn’t break the bank. I’d say the fit is as advertised, shorter in the body and a bit of a boxy fit but that’s to be expected with this style of jacket. I have a longer torso so typically need a longer jacket, if you have a similar body type be aware of that. Stitching and materials feel good, I’d prefer this to be a heavier oz denim but this will be far more versatile. Only real gripe is that there’re no hand warmer style pockets.
Great quality jacket, had an original years ago which was pinched from me! Been looking for one ever since! Japanese copies are eye wateringly expensive and so are Levis. This is every bit as good at a superb price. Thanks Bronson 👍🏻
Fit and quality of the jacket is great. Unsure if there is a better type 2 for the money, and this rivals the quality and fits of jackets double the price. For reference, I ordered a size 40, and am 5'10 and roughly 165 lbs. The boxier fit of the type 2 is perfect for me, as it allows a degree of layering underneath. Will definitely buy from Bronson again in the future.
