4. How to measure the product’s size?

Outerwear & Tops

① Shoulder:
Measure from where the shoulder seam meets the sleeve on one side to another side.
② Chest:

Measure from the stitches below the armpits on one side to another.

③ Sleeve:

Measure from where the shoulder seam meets the armhole to the cuff.

④ Length

Measure from the center of the collar edge to the bottom of the garment.



① Waist:

Measure straight across the top of the waistband from edge to edge.

② Front Rise:

Measure from the bottom of the front rise to the top of the front rise.

③ Seat:

Measure straight across the widest hip line from edge to edge.

④ Back Rise:

Measured from the crotch seam to the top edge of the back waistband.

⑤ Thigh:

Measure across straight from the crotch seam to the outside of the leg.

⑥ Leg Opening:

Measure straight across the leg opening.

⑦ Inseam:

Measure the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

⑧ Length:

Measure from the waistband to the leg opening or hem.

This reproduction of the 1951 1st version M-51 Parka.

The M-1951(or M51) Parka, is commonly known as the fishtail parka. It was designed by the US Army during the Korean War to cope with severe cold weather. It was a replacement for the M-48 Parka. The early M-51 Parka was made of heavy cotton sateen fabric, which was thicker. The fishtail was intended to be tied around soldiers' legs for additional cold-weather protection. The M-51 parka can add a wool liner to the inside.

It's made of 11.5. oz cotton sateen fabric, Talon #10 brass zipper plated tin color, internal marks for the mimeograph process, reproduced the details of the original version.

  1. 100% cotton. 11.5 oz. cotton sateen fabric,
  2. Talon #10 zipper.
  3. Urea buttons.
  4. Machine washable cold.
  5. There will be about 3-4% shrinkage after the first wash.
  6. Model Billy is 5' 10"/ 178cm, weighs 159lbs/ 72.5kg, wears a size M.
