I took a flyer on these as I was looking for a wider fit, higher rise denim and there was very limited reviews or pictures out there, but I’m soooo glad I did! I took my normal trouser size 36 and they fit beautifully after an initial rinse and hang dry. The denim is very slubby and hairy and has a lot of character. I love the buckle back feature (which is functional btw, not sure what the other review was thinking) as well as the arcuates on the pockets. Overall, I’m extremely happy and will be getting the Type 1 1937 jacket to match!

The customer rep was correct, I should have ordered a 32. These should be fine once washed. But the disappointing thing is the extra fabric under the belt loop. It’s the first loop that holds excess belt so it is particularly inconvenient. Clearly a quality control issue. Not typical of this amazing brand. It’s too much of a hassle to return one pair of jeans so I’ll find a way to get it fixed.

Lot 37801XX 1937 Selvedge Denim Jeans

The pattern is very much 1930s. Fit and drape like the real thing. The selvaged denim is sweet. Stitching and details are well thought out and of hight quality! The only drawback for me is the stitched design, in place of the arcuate pattern, on back pockets. Make sure you check the size chart as different garments in a given nominal size can fit very differently. Still, the size charts at Bronson have always been accurate.

These are my favorite jeans. They fit me perfectly, they're the prefect cut for me. The hairiness of the denim is perfect and I also love the leg twists from the shrinkage. I hot soaked them a couple times and then I gave them a hot wash later and they fit me like a glove. I love the high waist and the loose straight legs. It really feels like I'm wearing something from the past whenever I button these up 10/10 jeans and I don't leave reviews often.

I usually wear a size 34 waist but red that these run a little small so I ordered a 36. The 36 fits me well on the waist even after a cold wash I still have a good amount of room. Lymph wise they are extremely long even after the cold wash so I’m going to have to get them tailored. Great pair of jeans I would definitely purchase again.

Great product faithful to the are of denim fits great. My only gripe is the buckle back is for show it is not real and the buck is often undone. Shipping is super hard iffy but it came early. Great product
