The NAF-1168 Deck Jacket was introduced by the U.S. Naval Aviation between 1941 and early 1943. Its name derives from the Naval Aircraft Factory (NAF), with the number 1168 corresponding to the Navy Aeronautical Specification.

The exterior is crafted from heavyweight cotton sateen, offering excellent wind resistance and water-repellent properties, effectively shedding moisture in rain or snow. Inside, a thickened brushed fleece blend of 50% alpaca and 50% wool provides a soft handfeel and superior warmth. The jacket features a clean, print-free exterior, embodying a timeless, understated design.

• Inner Lining: 900 g (approx.) flocked wool blend lining—50% alpaca, 50% wool.
• Zipper: WALDES Nissan Zipper.
• Ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem: Seamless tubular knit, 100% wool, woven on specialty equipment for an intentionally textured, irregular finish.
