In 1941, the U.S. Army introduced the first-generation HBT uniform. The 1942 second-generation version added thigh cargo pockets to the P.Q.D. No.42B trousers.

In 1943, to counter the threat of chemical warfare, a gas-proof flap was added, creating the C/D variants. These uniforms were used alongside the USMC version in the Pacific theater and remained in service until the Korean War.

Again a HBT banger ! This M-43 I'v awaited for so long finaly arrived and I'm so pleased that I'm gonna order another one . Be aware to follow the sizing instructions : it runs a little smaller than the P44 USMC for example. I'm 1m88 89kg size 36. 95cm waist

10/10! Lovely Hbt set by Bronson. Correct army weave and good color. The attention to detail Bronson delivers are welcomed by reenactors. I personally moved the pockets up 2-3” for them to be more accurate for a ww2 impression. This is very impractical as it makes the pockets very hard to get into but it’s more correct for ww2 use. I’m aware that Bronson is a fashion shop and not a ww2 shop so I’m not deducting a point for my own personal preference and use of this set. It was an easy fix. The lower pockets are definitely more usable for everyday use.

True to size, pockets need to be repositioned to get them ww2 complient.

These are my most worn pair of pants in my wardobe yet! With that being said there are still things that separate these pants from being what I will buy for fatigues forever. The cut of the but is VERY unflattering which is a shame for how well they do everything else. stitching is clean, the cuff at the bottom is a straight cut making them feel very sturdy and reminicent of vintage pants. Im willing to bet the cotton is short staple as near stiching I can already see pilling after maybe 2 months of wear. For the pricepoint, what you get is astronomically better than the little gripes.
